Low Carb BBQ Rub

Introduction

With 2.2 Net Carbs you really can't go wrong with this! I sometimes like to switch out the xylitol and use Ideal Brown which is like xylo-sweet only it's the imitation brown sugar form. Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 Tblsp course black pepper
    1 Tblsp paprika
    2 Tblsp xylitol or 2 T Ideal Brown or 2 T Splenda granular
    1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
    1 tsp dry mustard
    1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp onion powder

Directions

Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.
Rub meat thoroughly with mixture several hours before grilling or slow cooking.
