Turkey Chili with Navy Beans

This is my turkey chili, & it's pretty yummy! This is my turkey chili, & it's pretty yummy!Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients

1 lb ground Turkey
1 can peeled plum tomatoes ( 35 oz) (process in Cuisanart)
1 large onion chopped
1 green bell pepper chopped
9 or so baby carrots (chopped fine in Cuisanart)
1 strip of Jalapeno pepper, chopped fine (or more two taste)
Navy beans 1 can , rinsed & drained
garlic cloves 3 crushed
1/2 cup chicken broth
chili powder
oregano
salt
cayenne pepper
Directions
Heat a Dutch oven on the stove top, add 1 tbs olive oil, & add the veggies & garlic.
Let brown & caramelize about 5 minutes then add turkey, stir until brown.
Add Tomatoes & chicken broth, spices~ simmer awhile & then add beans.
Top with cheddar cheese & avocado ~
Better the next day, too!
Serving Size: I think this makes 6 one cup 1/4 servings
