Introduction

Number of Servings: 72

Ingredients

    1 cup Granulated Sugar
    1 cup (2 sticks) Margarine
    1/2 cup Blackstrap Molasses
    1 1/2 cup Milk, 1%
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp Baking Soda
    1 tsp Cloves, Ground
    4 1/2 cup Unbleached Flour

Directions

Mix together in the order given until a soft dough forms. Roll on floured surface until 1/4 inch thick; cut into shapes and place onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees until edges are lightly browned (approx. 10-12 minutes.)

Serving Size: Makes approx. six dozen cookies, depending on the size of the cutouts
