Szechuan Green Bean Stir Fry

Ingredients

    4 cups fresh green beans, rinsed
    1/2 - 1 tsp minced garlic
    1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

    SAUCE:
    1 tsp cornstarch
    3 TBSP water
    1 TBSP Bragg's Liquid Amino Acids
    2 tsp ketchup
    1 tsp red wine vinegar

    OTHER:
    1 can water chestnuts (drained)
    1/2 TBSP sesame oil
    1 TBSP sesame seeds

Directions

1. Snap ends off green beans, then snap into bite-sized pieces.

2. Steam prepared green beans.

3, Mix together the water and cornstarch, then add this and remaining SAUCE ingredients together in a small bowl. Mix well.

4. Measure all OTHER ingredients so they are ready when they need to be added.

5. Spray wok or large skillet with Pam. Place steamed green beans, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes in heated skillet and stir fry for about 2 minutes.

6. Add SAUCE, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and water chestnuts and stir-fry for another minute or so until heated through and sauce has thickened (won't be a lot of sauce, just enough to coat beans.
