Korean Style Pork Tenderloin

    1 lb pork tenderloin, trimmed
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 T honey
    2 T reduced sodium soy sauce
    1 T grated peeled fresh ginger
    1 T seasoned rice vinegar
    2 t Asian (dark) sesame oil
    2 t chili-garlic paste
    1/2 t salt


1. Cut port in half lenthwise, leaving a 1/2 inch hinge. Ipen the port up like a book. Place the pork, cut side down, between 2 sheets of plastic wrap. pound the port to 3/4 inch thickness.
2. Combine the garlic, honey, soy sauce, ginger, vinegar, sesame oil and the chili-garlic paste in a large zip bag; add teh pork. Squeeze out the air and seal bag; turn to coat the pork. Refrigerate the pork, turning the bag occasionally, at least 2 hrs or overnight.
3. Spray the grill rack with nonstick spray; prepare the grill for a mendium-hot fire.
4. Remove the port from teh marinade; dicard teh marinade. Sprinkle the pork wit the salt. Place th pork on the grill rack and grill untill well marked and an instant-read thermometer inserted in the center of the pork registers 160F for medium, 5-6 minutes on each side. Transfer the pork to a cutting board and let stand about 5 minutes. cut into 8 slices.
