I prefer to use fruit in the stuffing like dried apricots and sultanas rather than sausage, it's different and tastes delicious. - 12/20/07

I agree with Quilterurban. The serving size is too small/not realistic and too high in fat. I'd use a lower fat sausage and use only 6 ounces instead of the whole package. A little sausage goes a long way in flavoring stuffing. Stuffing shouldn't have more sausage(16 oz.) than bread(10 oz.)!! - 12/20/07

Who would eat just 1/24th of this stuffing. Maybe it would serve 8, then it would be 350+calories. - 12/20/07

dividing this into 24 servings equals a serving that is perhaps 1/8th of a cup or 2 tablespoons...and has 7.5 grams of fat. the stuffing I make normally is healthier than this - 12/20/07

I have become a big fan of some of the turkey and chicken sausages...some of which have wonderful flavors. I think I will try this recipe...making a turkey for Sunday's family Christmas gathering... but try to cut down some of the fat with this change. Other than that, it sounds great. - 12/20/07
