Introduction

Veg and bean stew Veg and bean stew
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 chopped onion
    1 tin of drained chick peas
    1 tin of drained black beans
    1 tin drained kidney beans
    1 tin of chopped tomotoes (400g)
    pinch of dry herbs
    teaspoon tomato puree
    1 teasp of vegemite (Marmite in UK)
    ½ cup of frozen spinnach
    fine green beans (French green beans)

Directions

add all of the ingredients to a large saucepan and heat up - cook for 20 mins

at same time cook a cup of brown rice (230g)

portion - stew 240g (1 ladle full)
brown rice 140g (ladle full)
