Hamburger and rice

Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1.25 lb Ground beef, lean*
    8 tbsp Chopped Onion
    1/4 cup diced Celery, raw
    1/2 cup chopped Cabbage, fresh
    1 cup White Rice, long grain
    1 cup Brown Rice, long grain
    Cream of Chicken Soup, 1 can (10.75 oz)
    1Chicken Boullion Cube
    1/4 cup Soy Sauce
    2 tbspTeriyaki Sauce
    4 cups tap water
    **Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 6 tbsp (remove)

Directions

Brown ground beef and drain exess fat. Add onion, celery and cabbage and cook for 5 minutes. Add flax seed meal, turn off heat and leave pan on burner as you prepare other ingredients.
Combine rice, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, boullion cube and soup in large casserole dish. Add meat mixture and 2 cups of the water. Bake at 375 for an hour, adding remaining water after first 30 minutes of baking. Add additional 1/2 cup water during last 10 minutes of baking if you want a creamier sauce.
