3/4 Brown Sugar, 0.75 cup, packed
3/4 Quaker Oats - Quick 1 Minute - Dry, 0.75 cup
3/4 Whole Wheat Flour, 0.75 cup
1/3 cup Becel light margerine, 24 tsp
3 cups chopped apple
2 tsp Cinnamon
In a large bowl, add the brown sugar, oats, flour and butter. Mix until it has a consistency of bread crumbs.
In a gallon size plastic bag, place the apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Seal the bag and shake it until the apples are well coated.
Place half of the crumb mixture in the baking dish. Then evenly spread the coated apples over the crumb mixture. Top it off with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake 40 - 45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. If you freeze this dish for later, then bake frozen at 375 degrees F for 45 - 60 minutes.
