Ice Box Muffins

Number of Servings: 100

Ingredients

    2 cups 100% bran cereal
    2 cups shortening
    5 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    5 tsp soda
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    1 qt buttermilk

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients and store in a gallon air-tight container in refrigerator. Don't stir after first mixing.
2. Spoon into muffin tin and bake in 400 over for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture before cooking if desired.

Will keep 3 weeks.
