Mothers Shortbread

Ingredients

    butter, icing sugar, flour

Directions

Beat softened butter for 5 min.
Sift icing sugar and add gradually, beating after each addition
Sift flour and add gradually, beating after each addition
Divide dough in half
Roll each ball to 1/2' thick
Cut with 2' cookie cutter
Reroll the dough each time
Place on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake at 325 for 12-15 min

Serving Size: makes 32 - 2 inch cookies
