Introduction

Number of Servings: 32

Ingredients

    3 cups all purpose flour
    1/4 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    1 tbs ground cinnamon
    3/4 cup vegetable oil
    3 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup peeled shredded pears
    1 cup peeled shredded apples
    2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

In a large bowl mix first five ingredients. In a smaller bowl mix remaining ingredients. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until moistened. Divide into 2 greased and floured 9x5 loaf pans. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Makes 32 slices.

  • I finally made this and it is a keeper. My son has some of it for breakfast instead of a pre-packaged muffin bag. I just needed to add about 1/2 cup of apple juice to make it moister. - 12/8/07
