Rich's Chocolate Protein Ice Cream

    4 cups Non-fat Milk
    2/3 cup sugar
    2 tbsp cornstarch
    2 egg yolks
    3 servings EAS Protein Shake Mix
    1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
    1/8 cup chocolate syrup or to taste


Bring the milk, sugar and cornstartch to a medium simmer and continue to simmer for 2 minutes. In a separate bowl whisk the eggs. Whisk in a little of the hot milk mixture in the eggs(about 1/2 cup) a little at a time. Then whisk the egg mixture into the milk mixture and bring to a low simmer. Continue for 2 minutes or until the mixture coats the back of a spoon. Take off the heat and cool in an ice bath. Once the mixture has cooled a bit, add the chocolate syrup, vanilla extract and protein mix.

Chill completely in the fridge (preferrably overnight).

Then, use the ice cream maker of choice to turn the custard into ice cream.

WW Points = 4 pts for each 1/2 serving using their new system.
