IntroductionAttempting to reduce the fat in regular banana chip muffins.
Attempting to reduce the fat in regular banana chip muffins.
1/3 cup Sugar
2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1/3 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
3 Ripe Bananas
1 Egg, lightly beaten
2 tsp Vanilla
1 cup Bran Bud Cereal (not flakes)
1 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips (optional)
2. Stir dry ingredients into the wet.
3. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
4. Grease one 12-count and one 6-count muffin tins (or use liners.) Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
