Breakfast Cookies

Introduction

Nice dense and yummy cookie- very filling. Nice dense and yummy cookie- very filling.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 large banana mashed (1/2 C)
    1/2 C natural peanut butter
    1/2 C honey
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 C rolled oats
    1/2 C whole wheat flour
    1/4 C nonfat dried milk powder
    2 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1 C dried cranberries
    1/2 C chopped walnuts

Directions

Coat a cookie sheet with cooking spray. Stir together banana, peanut butter, honey and vanilla. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, powder milk, cinnamon and baking soda. Stir oat mixture into banana mixture. Stir in cranberries and walnuts. Using 1/4 cup measure, drop mounds of dough 3 inches apart on prepared baking sheet. With spatula dipped in water, spread dough to a 3/4 inch mound. Bake one sheet at a time 14 to 16 minutes at 350.

    Good! I know they are a little high in calories but once in a while I think it's okay. I, too get sick of egg white every day!
