VERY spicy turkey chili

Submitted by: LUCKYSTR22

Introduction

This recipe is my favorite Chili recipe and I've never had to write down the amounts for the spices ( my mom taught it to me, no measurements). I think it's the perfect amount of spice, but I've been told it's VERY spicy hot. Ingredients

    1 lb ground turkey, browned
    2 tsp minced garlic
    2 cups chopped onion
    1 1/2 cups chopped celery
    1/2 cup mushrooms
    2 jalepenos chopped
1- 27 oz can of Bush's Red Beans in Chili Sauce
1 can of Bush's Black Bean Fiesta
2-14.5 oz cans of diced tomatoes
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
    1 1/2 cups water
    2 tbsp Chili powder
    1 tbsp oregano
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    2 tsp paprika
    2 tsp cumin
    1 tsp crushed red pepper

Directions

Brown the turkey and add garlic, onion, celery, jalapenos(optional), and mushrooms.
Add both cans of beans, diced tomatoes and paste and the water. Stir well.
Add all the spices, experiment to see what works best for your family. Add less cumin and crushed red pepper to make it less spicy.
Stir really well and bring to a boil, then let simmer for 30 min.
