I satisfy my sweet tooth with this dish...it doesn't have any added sweeteners and supplies savory, sweet, and spicy flavor profiles; the spices and amount of olive oil can be varied to your taste, sometimes I also add ginger and apples...it's like Thanksgiving anytime! Ingredients

3 medium size sweet potatoes
3 medium onions
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp ground cinnamon
3 tbsp ground cloves
2 tbsp nutmeg
1 tbsp ground cayenne pepper
Directions
Peel and cut potatoes into 1/4' cubes; blanch just until water reaches a boil; strain and set aside
Preheat oven to 350
Coarsely chop onions into 1/.2" pieces; put into large mixingt bowl with potatoes and remaining ingredients; mix until coated well;
Transfer to a large baking dish; mixture should be a single layer
Bake uncovered at 350 for one hour or until potatoes are crispy and browned
