Lexy's Pizza Dough

Introduction

This recipe has been in my family for generations as have many of the recipes I share. It's simple and very quick to prepare. It makes 2 large pizzas This recipe has been in my family for generations as have many of the recipes I share. It's simple and very quick to prepare. It makes 2 large pizzas
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    2 C. All Purpose Flour
    2 C. Whole Wheat Flour
    1-2/3 C. Warm Water
    1 Tbs Yeast
    2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
    1 tsp. Salt

Directions

1. Dissolve yeast in water.
2. In a medium bowl combine dry ingredients and oil. Add water/yeast mixture.
3. Mix until a dough forms. Remove dough from bowl and kneed on a lightly floured surface for 5 mins.
4. Cover dough with plastic wrap and let rest for 10 minutes.
5. Divide dough into 2 equal parts. Roll each into desired shape.
6. Lightly dust pizza pan with cornmeal before placing dough on pan. Using a fork, poke the dough every few inches to prevent bubbling.
7. Cover dough with desired ingredients and bake at 350 for 20-35 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 2 Large Pizzas
