My low calorie/fat banana muffins

Introduction

These are so yummy and so light...my 5 year old daughter loved it! These are so yummy and so light...my 5 year old daughter loved it!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup white plain flour
    1 tbsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 large egg
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    1/2 cup apple sauce

Directions

Shift together all dry ingredients. Mash bananas in a separate bowl, add egg, apple sauce and vanilla. incorporate dry ingredients to the wet and mix well. Bake on 350 degree F. oven, middle rack for 15 to 20 minutes. Insert knife or toothpick in the center of muffin, if it comes out clean...they are done. Let them cool or enjoy warm.

Serving Size: makes 12 regular size muffins
