This is a simple meatloaf recipe. It's very adjustable - add what you like! I like it just the way it is :) Add salt to taste - I'm never sure of just how much I'm using...but I tend to undersalt things! This is a simple meatloaf recipe. Ingredients
-
1.3 pounds ground turkey - the leaner the better!
1 pound ground pork
1 pound ground beef - again, the leaner the better!
6 eggs
salt to taste
1/3 cup cornflake crumbs
Directions
Combine all ingredients and mix until throughly blended. Separate into 2 loaves. We usually cook one and freeze one. If you're freezing one, wrap it in cling wrap or easy release foil and then bag it in a freezer bag. The one you're cooking will be placed in a baking dish or roaster with about a half inch of water, covered with foil, and baked at 350 for 90-120 minutes. You can sprinkle a little more salt on it before you put it in. It will brown on top. Check it every half hour to make sure it hasn't dried out. Add water when needed. Depending on your stove it can take between 90-120 minutes.
