1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut into pieces
3 2/3 cups powdered sugar (1 box )
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1/3 cup finely chopped Maraschino cheeries, well drained
1/3 cup pecan pieces
1 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
stir with nwisk. Microwave on high additional 30 sec. at a time until slightly thickened and smooth when stirred. Do not boil. With spatula, stir in cherries, pecans and extract. Spread into pan. Cover, refrigerate until firm.
