Introduction

This is a long-time recipe from an old Pillsbury Cookbook that I modified to reduce the sodium. This is a long-time recipe from an old Pillsbury Cookbook that I modified to reduce the sodium.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb Ground Beef
    1 Medium Onion
    1 Stalk Celery
    Chili Powder to Taste
    Dash Pepper
    16 oz. can (2 cups) stewed tomatoes (no salt added)
    8 oz can (1 cup) tomato sauce (no salt added)
    15 oz can (2 cups) dark red kidney beans, undrained

Directions

In large skillet, brown ground beef, onion and celery. Drain excess fat. Stir in remaining ingredients except beans. Simmer covered 30 - 45 minutes. Stir in beans. Heat through.
