Introduction

Ingredients

    *Trader Joe's Organic Chicken Broth (low sodium), 10 cup
    Turkey (light meat), 1.5 cup, chopped or diced
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 3 plum tomato
    *Better than Boullion Chicken Base, 3 tsp
    Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Onions, raw, .75 cup, chopped
    Celery, raw, .75 cup, diced
    Cabbage, fresh, 1 cup, chopped
    *Lundberg Short Grain Brown Rice cooked 1 cup
    Salt, 1 tsp or to taste
    Thyme, ground, 1.5 tsp
    Marjoram, dried, 1.5 tsp
    *Onion powder, .5 tsp
    Pepper, black, .25 tsp

Directions

Chop turkey meat into small pieces, set asde. In a large soup pot, add broth, tomatoes, vegetables, bouillon, herbs, salt and pepper, onion powder. Cook for 15 minutes. Add rice and turkey. warm through. serve.
