Apple Crumble

Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    5 cups sliced apples
    lemon juice, as desired
    1.5 cups suger, split in half
    1/2 teaspoon on cinnamon
    Pinch of ginger
    2 cups flour
    1 stick butter, or margarine

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease 8 x 8 pan.
2. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice, 3/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, and ginger. Mix together. Pour into pan.
3. Mix flour, remaining sugar, and butter until it crumbles. Pat loosely on top of apples.
4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until lightly golden.
