Sweet and Sour Chicken

Introduction

This is our adaptation of Sweet and Sour CHicken. It is super tasty! This is our adaptation of Sweet and Sour CHicken. It is super tasty!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    12 ozs chicken, cut into 1 inch cubes
    2 tablespoons light soy sauce
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    3 tablespoons cornstarch
    1 can pinapple chunks (big can), reserve liquid
    1 large onion cut into 1 inch pieces
    1 bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces
    1/3 cup water
    4 tablespoons vinegar

Directions

Spray skillet with pam. Brown chicken. Remove chicken and place on plate. Add cornstarch dissolved in the water, soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, and vinegar. Bring to a boil, it will become clear. Once sauce is thickened and clear, add veg and chicken back to the skillet. Heat until the veg are cooked and the chicken is warm. Serve over rice.
