Cashew Honey Peanut Butter

Submitted by: SHELBSYD

Introduction

I just found heaven making this nut butter! Sweet but not over whelming. So good with an apple or pretzels! Yummy!! I just found heaven making this nut butter! Sweet but not over whelming. So good with an apple or pretzels! Yummy!!
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

2 Cups of dry roasted cashews - Unsalted
    1 Tbsp. Canola oil
    1 .5 Tbsp of Honey
    1/4 tsp of salt
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract (optional)
    1 tsp of cinnamon (optional)

Directions

Add the cashews to a food processor and start blending on high. Every 30 seconds or so, you will have to push down the sides of the wall of the processor. You may have to do this like 10 times. But it's fun to watch & even better to test!!!

When a ball forms, add honey, Canola Oil and Salt. You can also add the Vanilla Extract and Cinnamon. (Included in calculations).

Process until the consistency you prefer, thick or runny. The whole blending process for a runnier nut butter is about 15 minutes. I like it this way so it's easier to spread.

Makes about 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 Cups.

Just be patient with the process.

Refrigerate and Enjoy every luscious lick!!

Serving Size: 24 - 1 tablespoon servings or 1 1/2 cups total
