Introduction

Ingredients

    HERB CRUST:
    1/2 Cup + 2 1/2 tablespoons Flax meal
    1 Tablespoon + 1 Teaspoon dried basil
    1 Teaspoon dried oregano
    2 1/3 cup roughly chopped yellow summer squash
    1 cup walnuts (soaked in water for 8-10 hours then drained; I do this 1st thing in the morning and it's ready by the time I need it for dinner)
    2 teaspoons sea salt
    2 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    1/2 shallot minced
    2 teaspoons nutritional yeast (this was the weird one, but it's easy to find at Sprouts or whole foods in the bulk bins and it's sooooooo healthy for you. google it and you will be delighted)
    2 teaspoons organic agave
    2 teaspoons lemon juice
    pinch of black pepper

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a food processor blend until fully combined. Spread onto teflex sheet and dehydrate at 115 degrees for 6 hours or until pliable. Remove from teflex sheet and return to dehydrator and dehydrate until desired texture is achieved 4-6 more hours.
