Variation of Pats Banana Muffins

Introduction

I loved Pats recipe but came up with this variation I thought I would share I loved Pats recipe but came up with this variation I thought I would share
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/2 C unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 C milk
    1 C old fashioned quaker oats
    3/4 C mashed banana
    1 egg
    3/4 C flour
    3/4 C brown sugar
    1 tsp baking powder
    .5 tsp baking soda

Directions

soak oats in applesauce and milk for at least 1 hour then mash bananas and egg with it
mix dry ingredients and add to wet
fill 12 muffin pan
sprinkle nuts on top (if desired not included in calorie count)
Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes

Serving Size: Makes 12 good size muffins
