Ingredients

    *Great Value Mixed Garden Medley (steamable) seasoned in garlic herbs, 1 cup (follow instructions on bag)
    *Shrimp, Wal-Mart, Small Cooked Peeled, Deveined, Tail Off, 3 oz (cook in microwave safe covered dish, vent lid, do not close tightly)
    *Water, tap, .5 cup (8 fl oz) (add to shrimp for cooking)

    I created this simple dish for taking to work. I can easily prepare this in the microwave and have a hot delicious healthy meal in under 10 minutes!
    When making this at work I prepare the entire bag of Mixed Garden Medley and take one serving out for the moment and save the other for another meal to enjoy at another time! (The bag I purchase is only a 2 serving bag *8oz bag*
    When taking the Shrimp to work for lunch, while at home I take out 3oz and put them in a zippy bag and bring a small microwave safe dish to use at the office. The remainder of the bag I place back in the freezer to keep is safely frozen for later use.

Directions

1. Place 3 oz shrimp in microwave safe dish, add 1/2 cup water, cover cook on high for 1 to 3 min. (since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time) Set aside with lid on while preparing veggie mix.
2. Follow instuctions on Steamable Garden Medley bag. (make sure that you let it stand for 1 minute as indicated on the instructions on the manufacturer's bag.) (since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time)
3. Place 1 cup Mixed Garden Medley on plate, drain water from Shrimp and place Shrimp with the Mixed Garden Medley and serve.

**optional addition: steamable brown rice is great with this!
**for a lower sodium version, use uncooked shrimp & steamable veggies without seasonings added**
