Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 Oz olive oil
    4 oz (114 gr) onion
    2 cloves (5 gr) garlic
8 oz mushrooms, portabella or regular
    2 beef bullion, low sodium
    7 cups water
2 oz (57 gr) rice stick noodles
2 oz (57 gr) beef (slow cooked roast with onion, garlic and pepper)
2 oz (57 gr) pork (slow cooked roast with onion, garlic and pepper)
4 oz (114 Gr) red (or green) cabbage, shredded
    2 cups bean sprout, fresh,
    1/2 t fish sauce
    1/2 t Sriracha sauce
    1 T Hoisin Sauce

Garnish with additional sauces and fresh cilantro at the table.

Directions

Saute in heated oil, onion and garlic. Add mushrooms until tender.

Boil water with bullion. Add noodles (cook 3-5 minutes). Add sauted onion, garlic and mushrooms. Add meat.

Lastly, add bean sprouts and red cabbage only until heated. Serve in two large (1.5-2-Qt) serving bowls.

Garnish with bunch (2-4T ) fresh cilantro, Sriracha Sauce, and Hoisin sauce. Sometimes I like to add 2 oz imitation crab (or small or tiny shrimp) to the mix. This is definitely a whole meal in a bowl.

Serving Size: Makes two 4-5 cup servings

Number of Servings: 2
