Simply Chunky Guacamole

Submitted by: APPLEPOO

Introduction

Avocados are so versatile and a breeze to prepare. Guacamole has to be the easiest recipe with regard to the avocado. . . and it's so tasty. ;p

Note: I do not use cilantro. It tastes like soap to me. Also, you can use red onion if you like. Gives it extra colour.

Ingredients

    Haas Avocado - 2
    Medium-size Tomato - 2 (without seeds, yuck)
Lime juice - 1 fl. oz.
    Scallions - chopped - 1 large
    Salt and Pepper
    *Chips are optional

Directions

To Remove Avocado Seed:
~ Slice the avocado vertically all the way around. Twist apart. Hit the seed with the heel of your knife and turn. The seed should come out. ~

1. You can either spoon out the meat or do some fancy cuts. Either way is fine.

2. Chop the tomatoes however you want to.

3. Chop the scallions. Simple, no?

4. Mix in a bowl with salt, pepper and lime.

I like my guacamole with chunks, so I don't mix it too much.

Serve with chips and eat up!

Serving Size: Makes a decent bowl for two people to share.
