Greek shortbread cookies

Ingredients

2 cups flour sifted
1/3 cup confectionery sugar
3 eggs
2 tsps baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 stick Fleischmann's unsalted margarine
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp cinnamon
3/8 cup fruit juice (orange, peach, white cranberry)
1 tsp egg white from eggs above
Directions
blend softened shortening and confectionery sugar with mixer. Beat eggs (removing one tsp whites) well and add to margarine mix. Sift flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda well. Add to ready blend along with fruit juice. May have to mix with hands.
Use flour until dough is not sticky; place covered dough in refrigerator to reharden 1-3 hours.
On cutting board, rollout 1 tbsp or smaller balls into traditional shapes. Place on parchment paper cookie sheet. Brush cookies with egg white/water mix. Sprinkle sesame seeds for deco.
Bake at 400 F for 15-20 minutes, checking bottoms of cookies do not burn. Done when golden brown.
