Introduction

Ingredients

    2 c sugar (the original recipe calls for 3)
    5 eggs
    2 T lemon extract
    3 sticks butter
    3 c whole wheat flour (original recipe calls for cake flour)
    3/4 c. 7-up

Directions

cream butter and sugar then add eggs until thoroughly blended. add lemon extract and flour. fold in cold 7-Up. Bake 325 for 60 to 75 minutes in a greased and floured bundt pan. can drizzle glaze of confectioners sugar and 7-Up on cooled cake and stick a toasted walnut half to each of the six big sections - this makes it both prettier and more caloric.

Serving Size: makes 24 slices in a bundt pan
