1 c. Apple Sauce, Unsweetened
1 c. Sugar
1 c. Light Brown Sugar, Packed
1/2 c. Egg Beaters
2 tbs. Almound Milk, Unsweetened
1.5 tsp. Pure Vanilla
1.5 c. Wheat Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
4 c. Whole Grain Quick Oats or Old Fashioned
1 c. Chocholate Chips (Mini chips if possible)
Combine sugar, brown sugar, gradually with the apple sauce. Next, add the eggs, milk, and vanilla; beat well.
Add flour, salt, and baking soda; Beat well.
Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Drop tablespoons full about 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake approximately 13-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving Size: Makes approximately 36 cookies, about an inch in diameter
**NOTE: These cookies are dense and do not rise. Mold them into the shape you would like. If you bake in a ball shape, they will not flatten out.
