Maple Granola with Muesli

Introduction

I had a bag of Blueberry Muesli from trader Joe's and I tried it in milk and didn't care for it, so I had to think what could I create with it? After reading the ingredients, i saw apple was in it, so I thought, hmmm, apples = maple granola. This smells so good and is nice and crunchy!! Ingredients

6 cups of Trader Joe's Blueberry Muesli (1 pkg)
    1/2 cup slivered almonds
    1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds
    2 tbsp of flax seeds
    1/2 cup of shredded coconut
1/4 cup of Turbino Sugar or you could use brown sugar (nutrition is the same value with the calculations)
    1 tsp of maple extract
    3 tablespoons
    1/4 cup of maple syrup
    1/4 cup of warm water

Directions

Preheat oven to 275

In a large bowl add all your dry ingredients, plus the sugar and pumpkin spice.

In a measuring cup, add your maple syrup, canola oil, water and maple extract. Stir until combined.

Add the wet ingredients to your dry ingredients and stir till everything is moist.

Pour on to a 9 x 13 baking sheet, and spread out. I tend to build the edges up a pinch since they seem to cook faster.

Put in the oven and set your timer for 15 minutes. Give it a stir, and then bake for another 15 minutes, check it, and keep baking until browned about 45 minutes total. I checked it every 15 minutes or so.

Makes 16 1/2 cup servings.
