Introduction

Try this version of French toast made with Alpine Valley Omega 3 Organic bread, Free range organic egg, and Agave sweetener instead of maple syrup (saves 140 calories!) Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    Alpine Valley Omega-3 organic bread (Two pieces)
    One egg
    milk (1 tbsp)
    Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp)
    Earth balance (1 tbsp for cooking and adding after it's cooked)

Directions

Preheat pan and lightly spread Earth Balance in the pan for cooking
Lightly beat the egg, mix with milk and sprinkle cinnamon in the egg mixture
Dip the slices of bread in the mixture
Place the bread in the pan. Sprinkle more ground cinnamon on top of the bread. Cook until golden brown.
Flip the bread to the other side and cook until golden brown.
Remove and add earth balance (for taste)
Add Agave sweetener

Serving Size: Makes 2 slices of French toast, 1 serving
