Ingredients
-
-8 oz cooked spaghetti pasta
-1 large egg raw
-2 T grated Parmesan cheese
-1/2 t Italian herb seasonings (dried)
-2 C ground turkey spaghetti sauce (a friend made ours so I don't have the actually nutrition, I just borrowed the numbers from another user's on Sparkpeople)
-1/2 C Italian style blend shredded cheese (I used Schnucks for this one but usually use Kraft or Sargento)
Directions
--Put your pasta in a small to medium bowl that has a lid along with the seasonings and Parmesan. Cover and shake to coat evenly. Scramble the egg in a small dish and then add it to the seasoned noodles. Recover and re-shake. Pour the noodle mix in a 9 in. casserole dish that has been lightly sprayed. Press the noodles around to form a crust like a pie.
--Pour 2 C of meat sauce in the noodle shell. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees and then top with the Italian shredded cheese and bake for another 5-10 minutes or until melted. Let sit for about 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
--Makes 6 servings.
--Enjoy!!
