Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

Greens (Spinach / Arugula), fresh, 2 cups (remove)
Lemon, 1 whole fruit with bitter peel cut off(remove)
Fresh Raw Ginger Root, 1 Tbsp, 1" chunk (remove)
Jarrow Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, 1 Tbsp
Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 2 tbsp (remove)
    Whey Protein Powder, 1 scoop
Kefir, Plain lowfat (Lifeway),or yogurt .5 cup
Water, filtered, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)

Tips

You can throw in whatever other fresh veg you have on hand: red peppers, carrots, cucumber, sprouts or other greens without making much difference in the nutrient counts. But added fruit will quickly add up the carbs, so watch out for that if you are counting them.

Directions

Blend in a high-powered blender like Blend-tec or Vitamix for the smoothest drink.

Serving Size: fills a 20 oz Blender bottle = 1 serving
