Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients

    2 cups mashed bananas (3 lg)
    1/3 cup melted margarine or butter
    1 egg beaten
    1 cup flour
    1/2 cup ground all bran flakes
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1tsp vanilla
    1/3 cup sugar
    1/3 cup chocolate chips

Directions

grease muffin tins. combine mashed bananas, egg, butter, and vanilla together. in another bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Make a well in the center. pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients. stir quickly until just blended. batter should be lumpy. fill muffin tins 2/3 full. bake at 350* for 20 minutes
