Cheatin Chicken and Dumplings

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 chicken breasts, skin removed
    1t Mrs Dash
    1/4 t garlic powder
    1 1# bag frozen mixed veggies
    1 can buttermilk biscuits

Directions

Place chicken breasts in crockpot add seasoning and 2 qts water. Cook on high 8hrs. Put frozen veggies in microwave safe dish and nuke on high for 10 minutes. While veggies are heating remove chicken from broth and break into smaller pieces, return to pot. Cut biscuits into quarters and add back to pot. Pour veggies in pot and cover. Simmer approximately 30 minutes more until dumplings are plump and no longer doughy in the center. Makes approximately 8 2cup servings. This is one of my husband's favorites.
