Introduction

Ingredients

    2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled & cut in 1" cubes
    2 cups frozen or fresh green beans, cut in bite size pieces
    1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
    1 can (14.5 oz) veggie or chicken broth
    1 small onion
    2 tsp Caribbean jerk seasoning
    1/2 tsp dried thyme
    1/4 tsp salt (optional)
    1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

    slivered almonds, toasted

Directions

Combine sweet potatoes, beans, broth, onion, jerk seasoning, thyme, salt and cinnamon in Slow Cooker. Cover; cook LOW 5-6 hours or HIGH for 3.

Garnish with toasted almonds.

Serve alone or with brown rice.
