IntroductionThis is kind of un-healthy, to be truthful... Hey, we *TRIED*!!! I swapped out 1/2 of the white flour for whole wheat! ;-) This is kind of un-healthy, to be truthful... Hey, we *TRIED*!!! I swapped out 1/2 of the white flour for whole wheat! ;-)
***IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, MIX:***
~ 4 cups Apples, chopped / diced
~ 1/2 cup Canola Oil
~ 2 Eggs
~ 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
~ 2 cups Granulated Sugar
***IN ANOTHER BOWL, MIX TOGETHER:***
~ 1 cup Flour, all-purpose (white)
~ 1 cup Flour, Whole Wheat
~ 2 tsp. Baking Soda
~ 2 tsp. Cinnamon, ground
~ 1/2 tsp. Salt
2. Spray a bundt pan OR two loaf pans with non-stick spray, and dust lightly with flour. Either pour the batter into the one bundt pan, or divide it equally between the two loaf pans.
3. Bake in a pre-heated 350F oven for 50 - 60 minutes, testing for doneness after 50 minutes.
4. Cut the cake into 16 pieces, or each loaf into 8 slices each (16 total). Enjoy! :)
