Three pears halved is hard to serve 4 people.
Much easier to eat if not cored.
Recipe says sliced thinly but the pears shown are halved and not browned. - 9/25/12

I have 2 pear trees in my yard but usually give the pears away because there are way too many to eat. This sounds like a recipe I'll really like so now I'm looking forward to the trees bearing fruit again so I can try it. - 1/20/09

Going to try this it sounds delicious, but yes the picture does not match. So I did a google search of images, and honestly could not find anything even close to the description of the recipe. I'm thinking it's hard to find a stock photo online, not everyone can upload an actual photo of the dish. - 6/19/13

When I have great pears, I hate to do this to them. What's wrong with a lovely pear by itself? I 'd use it on ones that aren't at their best. - 1/20/09
