1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup, plus 2 tbsp butter, divided
3-4 cups apples, peeled and sliced thinly
2. Spread half of crumb mixture into a buttered 8x8 inch pan. Cover with apples and top with the remaining crumb mixture. Dot with 2 tablespoons of the butter.
3. Bak at 350F (180C) for 40 minutes. Cut into squares. Serve warm topped with French vanilla yogurt if you choose.
