IntroductionAnother dish that I came up with on a whim. Enjoyed by all. Another dish that I came up with on a whim. Enjoyed by all.
1 pkg Johnsonville turkey and cheddar sausage
1 tsp minced garlic
3 cups whole wheat pasta (we like penne)
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 bag of Kroger Recipe Beginnings 3 Pepper and Onion Blend
1/3 pkg Private Selection Steam Select Whole Bean Blend
1-1/2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
6 tbsp shaved parmesan cheese
2. Cut the sausage into bite size pieces
2. Spritz frying pan with olive oil and fry sausage over medium heat until browned add garlic and toss. Turn down to low
3. Dump black beans, pepper mix and green beans in with the sausage, cover and stir occasionally until all veggies are warmed through.
4. Add pasta to sausage, add olive oil and balsalic vinegar. Stir well. Top with parmesan chese and serve warm.
