Moose spaghetti sauce

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 - 1/2 pound (24 oz) ground moose meat
    1/2 pound (8 oz) lean or extra lean ground beef
    3 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 large onion, diced
    2 stalks celery, diced
    2 carrotes, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    1 can mushrooms
    1 can tomato paste
    1 large canned tomatoes
    Montreal Steak spice, parsley, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, chili peppers,


Directions

In a large pot, add a little oil or nonstick coating, r cook onion, garlic, celery, green pepper and carrots until sotened. Remove from pot.
Add the ground moose meat and beef to the pot and cook till meat is brown. Drain fat
Add the softened vegetables to the meat mixture.
Add the mushrooms, tomatoes, and tomato paste.
Add spices of choice.
I like a variety of spices, but I' m sure you have your favorites. The spices soften the moose meat flavor .I will cook it on the stove for a few hours, or put in the crock put for the day.

Makes approximately 10 12 servings
