IntroductionEnjoy as a simple snack or as a bowl of yummy cereal. No sugar required. Enjoy as a simple snack or as a bowl of yummy cereal. No sugar required.
1/2 cup Vegetable oil
1/2 cup Honey
2 Tbsp Milled flaxseed
1 Tbsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Salt
3 1/2 cups Old Fashioned Oats
1 1/2 cups Chopped mixed nuts (your favourites)
2 cups Mixed dried fruits (your favourites)
In large bowl, stir together oil, honey, vanilla, flaxseed and salt. Stir in oats and nuts.
Spread onto large baking tray and bake for 15 minutes. Stir.
Checking and stirring every few minutes, continue to bake until golden brown (about 10 minutes more or so)
Stir in dried fruit and cool to room temperature.
