Ingredients

    2 15 oz cans of chickpeas
    3 cloves garlic
    1/2 cup jarred roasted red peppers
    1/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 1/2 tsp sea salt
    1/3 cup lime juice
    1/4 tsp cayenne (ground red pepper)
    1/2 tsp ground cumin


Directions

Blend first 9 ingredients and add 1/3 c lime juice in a food processor until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides; add additional lime juice, if necessary, until desired consistency. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Garnish with flat leaf parsley if desired.
Makes 14 servings, each serving is 88 grams
