Introduction

I found this recipe here on spark, and modified it just a bit for what I had on hand, and what I wanted in it. I found this recipe here on spark, and modified it just a bit for what I had on hand, and what I wanted in it.
Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    *Whole Wheat Flour, 2 cup
    *Granulated Sugar, .25 cup
    *Brown Sugar Blend, Splenda, .25 cup
    *Baking Powder, 0.5 tsp
    *Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, 0.5 tsp
    *salt, 0.5 tsp
    egg white, fresh, 2 large
    Milk, 2%, 1 cup
    Applesauce, unsweetened, .5 cup
    *Chocolate Chips, Hershey's semi-sweet, .75 cup
    *Ground Cinnamon, .5 tsp
    *Imitation Vanilla Extract, .5 tsp

Directions

Mix all dry ingredients together (except chips). In separate bowl, mix all wet ingredients together. Add wet mix to dry mix, and stir till moistened. Add in chips. Spoon into greased muffin pans (I used paper cups, and the muffins stuck pretty bad). Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
You could also add nuts, or 2 tbls. of unsweetened cocoa powder to this recipe. Nutritional info will change, of course.
