Braised steak ( lean )per person
sliced onion 1 - 2
minced garlic 1 tsp heaped.
1 pkt french onion soup mix
Place braising steak in pan
Layer sliced onions over steak
Mix french onion soup with garlic and approx 1/2 cup water.
Pour mixture over steak and onions
Cover with alfoil and twist ends all around so that there is no leakage.
Cook in the oven on 180 fan forced for 1 hr and 15 mins per 2 pieces of steak.
Serve with steamed vegetables.
